Over
the years, vaccines have significantly reduced the incidence
of serious infectious diseases. However, increasing evidence
implicates vaccines in triggering immune-mediated and other
chronic disorders.
The
Vaccination Debate examines some of the problems associated
with vaccinations such as batch contamination or a host's
genetic predisposition to react adversely to antigen products.
Dr. Dodds also discusses the duration of immunity from vaccinations
and offers a suggested new protocol for immunizing dogs and
cats against common chronic diseases and disorders in animals.
Dr.
W. Jean Dodds is a leader in canine immunology research.
